Many still remember the double recital, given before COVID, among the troubadours of poetry in Puisaye-Forterre, Andrée and Gérard-André, who welcomed him in the den of La Closerie in Etais-la-Sauvin.
An annual meeting with amateur artists
A feast to see SMAIN in the flesh and in top form, to perform in front of a hundred spectators delighted with this opportunity, and who did not ask so much!
And then there was, afterwards, the hard but so effective work done by Nadia FENNIRI, as a talented conductor of the cultural association TRIODARTS. We owe her the regular visit of the actor/writer in Yonne, almost once a year ,when the health crisis is not raging.
She fed him with this collaborative and ambitious project where the actor challenges an audience of neophytes eager to try pantomime and laughter, becoming much more than just budding comedians the time of a fruitful internship lived in workshops: the “Misters Classes”.
TRIODARTS, the original matrix of this relationship
During three days of training and four workshops to live in immersion alongside their teachers – aesthetes of the theatrical scene and quirky humor -, these fans of laughter and notebook puns have thus perfected their own way, by means of rehearsals, to shine better in the light. This was the case during a public restitution. Under the eyes of their mentor and critic, SMAIN!

Organize a comedy festival
He continues by having a pleasant word for the great work achieved by TRIODARTS, the association which originated this innovative and terribly effective artistic concept.
“I hope the concept will continue over the years,” he said, and why not organizing a first comedy festival hosted here in Châtel-Censoir as soon as 2023?
A loquacious and accessible SMAIN who remembered some personal memories from his tender youth, at the time when he attended the leisure center of Arcy-sur-Cure in 1966, near Lake Sauvin where he played his first sketches!
